Using Aurasma in the classroom
Aurasma is a fun, free application that is easy to use and allows students to create great demonstrations of their understanding of topics and concepts. There are some simple things teachers can do to make this easier to handle in the classroom setting.
The biggest confusions with using Aurasma right now seem to come from the differences in creating Auras in either the app or online in the Aurasma Studio. If you want to share your creations across multiple platforms and devices, then you need to use the online link to Aurasma Studio. If however you are just doing this in class, then using the app is fine. Students can show their Auras to the class using AirPlay, AirServer, or connecting to your projector with a dongle. Then, you can 're-create' their best work in the online Aurasma Studio if you want to share across multiple devices.
For best results, at least until the next updates come down, if educators want to share your Auras across multiple devices for all students to see, they should create their Auras using Aurasma Studio online at: https://aurasma.studio.com/
