- By using the apps you have creatively, you can create great learning exemplars!
Remember - there are hundreds of other creative apps out there! Be open-minded and think about what you might do by mixing them up!
Here are a few ideas to get you going....
Writing with a flair - Use Book Creator for your final product
Write your purpose statement - what is your book or story or report about?
Create a storyboard - Use Popplet app or 30 Hands app to storyboard
Take and/or download pictures to illustrate
Create one or two Telagami videos to add to your book
Write your text in Notability or other Notes app
Start assembling your book in Book Creator
When finished and checked, publish it to iBooks, share in iTunes
Writing a graphic novel
Storyboard using Popplet
Take and/or download pictures - or draw them on a whiteboard app!
Put the pictures in PicCollage or Comic Touch layouts - use cartoon or drawing effects
Add your captions and bubbles
As pages are completed, save to camera roll and then place your layout in Book Creator
When finished and checked, publish it to iBooks, share in iTunes
Portfolios
Put all your projects as you go throughout the year in a Learning Journal created in Book Creator
This could be done by teacher for lower elementary as a class portfolio or a class collection of stories.
The new SeeSaw app is very useful for creating portfolios of student work
Remember - your camera is your friend! You can always take pictures of paper creations or virtual manipulative creations, they are always saved to your camera roll. This camera roll becomes your resource file to put items in other creations; easy way to add to your portfolio.
Thinglink Reports (or Storytelling)
Plan your project using Popplet
Find your resources - websites etc.
Create your videos or find them on YouTube or Vimeo or other
Write your script out
Pick your target photo
Annotate if needed in Skitch
Post your chosen photo to Thinglink
Add your touchpoints to link all your pieces
Things that don't link on the iPad App itself - go to Safari to complete your touchpoints
Share on your teacher's classroom channel
PechaKucha presentations (20 slides; 20 seconds per slide; minimal words or title on each - or no words at all!)
Plan your presentation using Notes or Popplet
